In 2006, United Fire Group of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was featured as a 20-year member of the NASDAQ Exchange. United CEO John Rife rang the opening bell and gave a short speech at the opening of the trade day.

New Leaf produced a 30-second video to commemorate the day. The video has been used in United's presentations and was also displayed on the NASDAQ Tower in Times Square, NYC.
